The Basket Cassette 400 is a decorative electric fireplace without heating function. The reflection of the light from the lamps on the upwardly flowing water vapour creates the illusion of flames.
This Opti-Myst vapour fireplace is an electric fireplace where water is evaporated by means of an ultrasonic evaporator. This water vapour is not hot and is lit with lamps. The heat that the lamps produce is used to make the water vapor rise, so we do not need to add an extra heating coil, we use less energy and the device is easier to maintain.
This product consists of a Opti-Myst Cassette 400 plus a separate 'basket'. The Opti-Myst Cassette 400 fireplace can therefore be placed directly in an existing fireplace.
Usage: This water vapour fireplace uses a removable water tank which needs to be refilled regularly (6-7 hours). The water vapour is generated by an ultrasonic evaporator. A transducer lasts 6-12 months depending on use.
