Natural gas has provided us with many benefits, but it's a fossil fuel and contributes to climate change. For a climate-neutral Netherlands, we need to transition to new ways of heating. 'Getting rid of gas' means no more gas connections in new residential areas, and existing neighborhoods need to undergo housing conversions.
