Literally and Figuratively Clean Fire

You'll read about it in this blog

Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) is the most well-known and common alcohol. Although chemistry refers to it as ethanol, we commonly refer to it as alcohol in everyday language. Alcohol is often used as a solvent, and it's the alcohol found in alcoholic beverages. Taxes are levied on the sale of this alcohol.

By denaturing the alcohol, it becomes unsuitable for consumption. No taxes are levied on this denatured alcohol. This ethanol is used, among other things, in disinfectants or as fuel. Recently, 10% ethanol has been added to the gasoline we use for our cars.

Ethanol is an important alternative fuel. When obtained from plants or wood residues, it's called bio-ethanol and undergoes clean combustion. Compared to fossil fuels, the combustion is clean, and the product is not scarce.

During the denaturation process, the purity of alcohol decreases to around 95-97%. A perfect percentage for a bio-ethanol fireplace.
