Xaralyn's electric fireplaces feature a glass pane where the flame effect is created by a projection of light.

As soon as you connect the fireplace to the mains, you can use it. Xaralyn's electric fireplaces have various functions. For example, you can regulate the flames and heat, and most fireplaces come with a remote control. You can find out whether the fireplace of your choice has the relevant functions in our collection of electric fireplaces.

The power consumption of an electric LED fireplace depends on the functions you use. If you only use the flame effect, the power consumption is between 10-15 Watts per hour; these costs are negligible.

For an average ceiling height, you can roughly assume: 

• 400 Watt 3-6 m2 

• 600 Watt 7-9 m2 

• 800 Watt 9-11 m2 

• 1000 Watt 12-14 m2 

• 1200 Watt 14-17 m2 

• 1400 Watt 17-21 m2 

• 2000 Watt 22-29 m2

The outside of the glass panel of your electric fireplace is easy to clean using a damp cloth. You can then dry the glass panel with a dry (tea) towel.

An electric fireplace contains a few moving parts. If there is little to no background noise and you listen carefully, this can be noticed. If a built-in electric fireplace is installed in a hollow space without sound insulation, this sound can be amplified.

You only need a grounded outlet to connect an electric fireplace. It is preferable if this connection is located directly behind the mantelpiece: this ensures that no cords are visible. Xaralyn electric fireplaces generally come with a cord of approximately one and a half meters. We strongly advise against cutting the cord! If you wish to extend the length of the cord, please use a grounded outlet.

Xaralyn electric fireplaces are designed to create atmosphere and can be used as supplementary heating. Depending on the electric fireplace, it can heat up to a maximum of 2000 watts. You can find the precise heat output of your chosen fireplace in the specifications or the user manual.

2000 watts is suitable for heating rooms up to 29 m². Xaralyn electric fireplaces provide pleasant warmth in the home.

Xaralyn electric fireplaces are equipped with various lamps. All new models use LED technology. You can find out exactly which lamps are in the fireplace of your choice in the user manual. Provided the socket is the same, the lamps can be easily replaced. However, please keep in mind that the light from the lamp affects the flame effect.

If the motor is not working or the fireplace makes a rattling sound, the motor probably needs to be replaced. We advise you to visit the dealer for this.

However, it is important to note that electric fireplaces cannot provide the same intense heat as wood or gas fireplaces. They are primarily intended for ambiance and moderate heat (supplementary heating). If you are looking for a powerful heat source, a traditional wood or gas fireplace may be more suitable.
