The Xaralyn vermiculite natural glow flakes are designed to cover the flat base plate of an electric fireplace. 

Combine different colors of glow flakes to mimic the appearance of ash flakes. The accordion-shaped granules contain millions of microscopic air cells, minerals, and bound water. This makes the material partially reflective, creating a glowing effect. Complete the look with ceramic or real wood logs, and your electric fireplace will be almost indistinguishable from a real one.
