The Xaralyn Built-in Unit Cassette 600 is a complete electric built-in fireplace featuring Opti-Myst water vapour technology. The fireplace combines a black built-in unit with the Opti-Myst Cassette 600, creating a surprisingly realistic flame effect using light and fine water vapour.

The Built-in Unit Cassette 600 has no heating function and is designed purely as a decorative fireplace. As there is no real combustion, no chimney, gas connection or fuel is required. All you need is a standard electrical socket. 

The included water tank is removable and can be filled with tap water.

Realistic flame effect with water vapour

The flame effect is created by the Opti-Myst Cassette 600. An ultrasonic transducer turns water into an extremely fine mist. This water vapour rises above the fire bed and is illuminated from below, creating the illusion of real, moving flames.

The water vapour is not hot. This allows the fireplace to combine a lively, realistic flame effect with the convenience of an electric decorative fireplace.

As the 'flames' actually move between and above the decorative elements, the fire effect has impressive depth. The flames remain visible from different viewing angles.

Installing the built-in fireplace

This electric built-in fireplace does not require a chimney or flue. All you need is a standard electrical connection. This means the fireplace can be installed in many locations where a traditional wood-burning or gas fireplace would not be possible or desirable.

Build a sturdy frame and install the complete built-in unit inside it. The black side and rear panels form the interior of the fireplace, so there is no need to construct a complete inner firebox yourself.

As this water vapour fireplace does not produce heat, installation is also considerably easier than with a traditional fireplace.

Ideal for a media wall or your own design

The Built-in Unit Cassette 600 is particularly suitable for integration into a custom-designed fireplace wall, piece of furniture or media wall. Its compact dimensions make it easy to create an atmospheric fireplace without having to consider a chimney or heat ventilation.

An electric water vapour fireplace can also be an attractive solution for replacing an existing wood-burning or gas fireplace. You retain the look and atmosphere of a fireplace, but without smoke, soot, ash or fuel storage.

Are you primarily looking for atmosphere and the most natural-looking flame effect possible, without needing additional heating? A water vapour fireplace is an excellent choice.

Please note that the Built-in Unit Cassette 600 has no heating function. If you are looking for an electric built-in fireplace that provides both atmosphere and heat, choose an electric model with a heating function.

Opti-Myst Cassette 600

At the heart of this built-in fireplace is the Opti-Myst Cassette 600. This electric fireplace uses a removable water tank. Depending on the selected flame height and usage, the fireplace can operate for approximately 6 to 7 hours before the water needs to be refilled.

The water vapour is produced by an ultrasonic transducer. This component is subject to wear and, depending on usage and water quality, will need to be replaced periodically.

The flame effect is easy to operate, allowing you to enjoy the fireplace purely for its atmosphere whenever you wish.

Atmosphere without a chimney

A water vapour fireplace uses no real combustion. This means there are no flue gases and no chimney or flue is required.

This gives you considerable freedom when designing your interior. Install the fireplace in a living room, apartment, office, restaurant or any other space where you want the look and atmosphere of a fireplace without installing a traditional fireplace.
